PEER REVIEW PROCESS
TANDA: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra ber e-ISSN 2797-0477 was published by Axiologi Surabaya. Manuscripts submitted to this journal will be peer reviewed (both reviewers and authors will be kept confidential) and it will take several weeks for the manuscript to return to the author. Authors will be notified of the status of their manuscript (accepted without revisions/accepted pending changes/to be revised and resubmitted/rejected) upon completion of the internal and/or external review process. Accepted research articles will be available online after a peer review process TANDA: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra. To check Plagiarism, editor TANDA: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra will screen the manuscript and will use text machining or plagiarism checker software to check the abstract and body text of the manuscript. If indications of plagiarism are found, then the editorial board TANDA: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra will immediately reject the manuscript. More specifically, our editorial process is as follows: 1. Initial screening. All submissions are initially screened by the Editor-in-Chief for suitability for scope TANDA: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra and basic submission requirements, and checked for plagiarism. Manuscripts that fail to meet our ethical standards will be immediately rejected, as will manuscripts that do not fit within the scope of the journal. 2. Reviewer duties. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then submitted to the section editor, who will select at least two relevant reviewers and begin the peer review process. 3. Peer review. During this stage, reviewers will assess the contents of the manuscript and provide recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief. 4. First decision. Once both (or more) reviewers have submitted their recommendations, the manuscript will be rejected, requested for revisions (minor or major), or accepted as is. If accepted, the manuscript is returned to the sending author for correction. The final decision to accept a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the recommendation of the section editor and after obtaining approval from the editorial board. 5. Revision. Manuscripts requiring revision are returned to the submitting author, who will have up to four weeks to revise the manuscript. Once revisions are submitted, they are once again assessed by the section editor to determine whether the changes are sufficient and appropriate, as well as whether the author adequately responded to the reviewers' comments and suggestions. If revisions are deemed inadequate, this step is repeated (the manuscript is returned to the submitting author once again for further revision). 6. Final decision. Ultimately, the revised manuscript is accepted or rejected, depending on whether the section editor has found that the manuscript has been improved to a level worthy of publication. If the author is unable to make the necessary changes or has done so to a substandard level TANDA: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra, the manuscript will be rejected. 7. Language editing. Once the manuscript is accepted, it is returned to the submitting author for final editing of its language and content; These are changes that improve the readability of an article without changing the substance of the content. TANDA: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra requires authors to return the manuscript with proof that changes have been made, which will be reviewed by the editorial board before finally greenlighting the manuscript for publication. 8. Typesetting. Once the green light is given, the manuscript is submitted to the journal typesetter. The final version of the article, as it will appear in TANDA: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra, returned to the submitting author for final review and approval. 9. Publication. Happy! Published articles will appear in TANDA: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra latest edition.
