PUBLICATION ETHICS
The code of ethics that must be fulfilled by writers who will publish their scientific articles in TANDA: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Bahasa dan Sastra e-ISSN 2797-0477:
This journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractice. This statement is based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices.
Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for every manuscript published in the journal.

Editors must ensure that the peer review process is fair, objective, and timely.

Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use any part of the content for personal purposes.

Editors must act upon any suspicion or allegation of ethical misconduct such as plagiarism, data manipulation, or undisclosed conflicts of interest.

Editors must provide clear guidelines to authors regarding the editorial process and publication decisions.
Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere or is under consideration by another journal.

Authors must appropriately cite all sources and contributions used in their work.

Authors are responsible for the authenticity of data and must avoid fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism.

Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.

If a significant error is discovered after publication, authors are required to notify the editor promptly and cooperate in correcting or retracting the article.
Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and may also help authors improve their manuscripts.

Reviews must be conducted objectively, constructively, and respectfully.

Reviewers must treat submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and must not use them for personal gain.

Reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from reviewing any manuscript in which such a conflict exists.
