Abstract

Artikel ini membahas perspektif Syaikh Nadim al-Jisr dalam karyanya Qisshat al-Îmân bayna al-Falsafah wa al-‘Ilm wa al-Qur’ân terhadap filsafat Plato, terutama dalam hal teori ide, konsep jiwa, dan hubungan antara akal dan iman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi pustaka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Nadim al-Jisr menilai filsafat Plato memiliki nilai kontribusi dalam hal pengakuan terhadap realitas non-material dan kedekatannya dengan nilai-nilai spiritual. Namun, al-Jisr juga mengkritik keterbatasan Plato yang terlalu mengandalkan rasio tanpa didasarkan pada wahyu, sehingga memunculkan celah dalam menjawab kebutuhan batiniah manusia. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi antara filsafat, ilmu, dan wahyu sebagaimana ditawarkan oleh al-Jisr merupakan solusi epistemologis atas keterbatasan sistem filsafat klasik.
