Tulisan ini merupakan kajian filosofis yang menelaah kritik Syaikh Nadim al-Jisr terhadap pemikiran filsafat Yunani, khususnya filsafat Socrates, sebagaimana dituangkan dalam karya monumentalnya Qisshat al-Îmân bayna al-Falsafah wa al-‘Ilm wa al-Qur’ân. Al-Jisr, sebagai seorang intelektual Muslim modern, memandang bahwa pencarian kebenaran melalui metode dialektika Socrates hanya menghasilkan skeptisisme tanpa solusi spiritual yang tuntas. Dalam pandangannya, filsafat Socrates terlalu berorientasi pada akal semata, tanpa mampu menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan mendasar tentang iman, akhirat, dan eksistensi Tuhan sebagaimana dipaparkan dalam Al-Qur’an. Artikel ini berusaha menelusuri bagaimana kritik tersebut dibangun dalam bingkai naratif dan epistemologis yang khas, serta merekonstruksi posisi al-Jisr dalam lanskap filsafat Islam modern yang mencoba mengintegrasikan rasionalitas, wahyu, dan ilmu pengetahuan.
