Happiness pada tenaga kerja kontrak: Bagaimana peranan kualitas kehidupan kerja?

Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of work life and happiness in contract workers in the Tegalsari District office, Surabaya. The population in this study were all contract workers in the Tegalsari District office, Surabaya, totaling 94 people. Selection of subjects using a saturated sampling technique. This research instrument uses a scale of quality of work life and happiness based on the aspects and indicators of each. Based on the results of data analysis using the Product Moment correlation, a correlation coefficient was obtained which showed (rxy) = 0.663 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.01). When compared with the r table, the results obtained are r count 0.663 > r table (0.207) at a significance level of 5%, so it can be concluded that there is a significant positive correlation between the variables of the quality of work-life and happiness. This means that the higher the quality of work life, the higher the happiness of contract workers, and conversely the lower the quality of work life, the lower the happiness of contract workers.
