Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between gratitude and work-life balance with psychological well-being of teaching staff at SMKN 1 Surabaya. The population in this study were all teaching staff at SMKN 1 Surabaya, totaling 127 teaching staff. Respondents in this study were taken using simple random sampling method with a total of 98 respondents. The research instrument uses a psychological well-being scale, gratitude at work scale (GAWS), work life balance scale. Based on the calculation of the results of data analysis using multiple regression analysis, the results obtained from the F test calculated = 31,769 and p = 0.000 (p <0.01) means significant, which means that there is a significant positive relationship between gratitude and work-life balance with psychological well-being in teaching staff at SMKN 1 Surabaya. Furthermore, there is an effective contribution in this study of 0.403, which means that gratitude and work-life balance have a 40.3% influence on psychological well-being. The rest is influenced by other variables.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara rasa syukur dan keseimbangan kehidupan-kerja dengan kesejahteraan psikologis pada tenaga pengajar di SMKN 1 Surabaya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan seluruh tenaga pengajar yang ada di SMKN 1 Surabaya yang berjumlah 127 tenaga pengajar. Responden dalam penelitian ini diambil menggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan jumlah 98 responden. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala psychological well-being, gratitude at work scale (GAWS), skala work life balance. Berdasarkan perhitungan hasil analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda diperoleh hasil uji F hitung = 31.769 dan p = 0,000 (p < 0,01) berarti signifikan, yang artinya terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara rasa syukur dan keseimbangan kehidupan-kerja dengan kesejahteraan psikologis pada tenaga pengajar di SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya. Selanjutnya terdapat sumbangan efektif dalam penelitian ini sebesar 0.403 yang artinya rasa syukur dan keseimbangan kehidupan-kerja memiliki pengaruh 40,3% terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis. Selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.
