Peran efikasi diri terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa ditinjau dari jenis kelamin

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination in students and also to determine differences in academic procrastination in terms of gender in students. The population of this study amounted to 752 people from the psychology faculty of the University of 17 August 1945, Surabaya. Then using the Slovin formula, it was found that this study required 88 participants. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with incidental sampling. This research uses correlational and comparative quantitative research. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis in this study is the Spearman's Rho correlation and the Independent Sample T-Test. Tests using Spearman's Rho got the results that there was a very significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination. Testing the second hypothesis using the Independent Sample T-Test, it was found that there were significant differences in academic procrastination in terms of gender in students.
