Abstract
This study aims to obtain data and determine the relationship between self aware- ness and career decision making in class XII students at SMA Negeri 3 Surabaya. The total number of subjects in this study is 94 consisting of 3 majors, namely IPA, IPS and Language. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between self awareness and career decision making. The measuring tool used in this re- search is the decision -making scale from Conger's theory which amounts to 48 items and the self awareness scale from Daniel Goleman's theory with a total of 30 items. The result of product moment correlation showed the value of coefficient rᵪᵧ= 0.730 p = 0.000 (p<0.01) which means that there is a significant positive rela- tionship between self awareness and career decision making. The higher the self awareness, the higher the student's career decision making.
