Abstract
This study aims to look at the relationship between conformity and fear of missing out. Conformity is the independent variable in this study. While fear of missing out is the dependent variable. The sample of this study was late adolescents aged 18-21 years in the city of Surabaya totaling 100 respondents. The sampling used is non-probability sampling with incidental sampling technique, which is a method of determining samples based on chance, which means that anyone who happens / incidentally meets the researcher can be used as a sample if it is deemed that the person who happened to be met is suitable as a data source. The measuring instrument used is the fear of missing out the scale and the conformity scale. Hypothesis testing is carried out with the results of a correlation coefficient of 0.790 with a significance level of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05) which shows a very significant positive relationship between conformity and fear of missing out, meaning that the higher the conformity, the higher the fear of missing out behavior.
